My summer kicked off in fine style, playing five sets at the excellent Maverick Festival.

Friday night on the Peacock Stage with the The Rosellys, followed by sitting in with the excellent Nashville base singer-song writer Don Gallardo, and finally with amassed Clubhouse All Stars.

Saturday afternoon Bob Collum and The Welfare Mothers on the Sweet Home Alabama stage and finally a second set with Don Gallardo in The Barn .

Three Chords and Truth have reviewed a number of Maverick acts including Don Gallardo ..class act.. ..epitomised the carefully selected American artist who fits the ideals of the Maverick Festival and Bob Collum ..was a joy to behold.

Despite awkward logistics a really fun day at Truck 2015 on the 18th . A couple of sets in The Saloon with Don Gallardo & The Rosellys, the evening rocking out with The Clubhouse All Stars, a real hoot. Great to watch friends playing great sets, The Redlands Palomino Company The Dreaming Spires & Danny and the Champs.

Bob Collum & the Welfare Mothers' Little Rock Album launch show was held at The Country Soul Sessions, at The Spice of Life in London's soho.

Early press reviews of Little Rock CD, released this month, now available from Harbour Song Records, are very encouraging.

Recording and mastering of The Rosellys new album, The Granary Sessions is now complete. The CD is due to be released later this year.

The BonTemps Playboys reunited again to play a show at the 22nd Gloucester Cajun & Zydeco Festival. What a fun hoot! Maybe we'll be asked again next year.

This month the saw the recording of three new Bob Collum songs at Perry Vale Recording Studios. These plus some more acoustic style songs recorded earlier this year should appear on a new EP scheduled for CD/Digital later this year.

Bob Collum's EP "Twisted Lines and Mixed Up Rhymes" has now been released on the legendary American rock 'n' roll entrepreneur and music producer Marty Thau's new digital label Red Star Digital Music. Now extended to a seven song offering, the EP tracks are available for download from Amazon.co.uk, Amazon.com, eMusic.com and iTunes. Original EP is still available as a CD or download from CDBaby.
